ALLEN CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says that another exit ramp from I-69 is closed for work. The southbound I-69 ramp to U.S. 24/ Jefferson Boulevard, Exit 302 is now shut down.
Crews will complete concrete patching and joint repair on the interstate as well as repave the exit ramp. Work is expected to last for approximately one week. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During the closure, drivers should continue south to Exit 299, the exit ramp to Lower Huntington Road/Airport Expressway, exit the interstate and then re-enter heading north on I-69 to connect with U.S. 24/Jefferson Boulevard, or consider seeking an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
