FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Hobnobben is Fort Wayne’s only international film festival and it returns this week with more than 141 films shown over the course of four days at Fort Wayne Cinema Center.
Hobnobben promises interactive Q&As, workshops, networking opportunities, and some amazing films. With films from 41 countries and in 27 languages, the festival “brings the world to Fort Wayne while opening night celebrates the work of Indiana-connected filmmakers.”
Organizers released the following:
In addition to all the films from here and around the world, Hobnobben is an opportunity for film lovers and filmmakers to connect. Hobnobben Film Festival is hosting several networking and workshop opportunities to connect attendees and teach them more about the industry – and more about how they can take advantage of things such as the Film and Media Tax Credits in Indiana. All workshops and networking opportunities are open to the public, not just filmmakers with a selected film in the festival. Everyone is invited to be part of the conversation. See the full list of workshops and networking opportunities below.

“Hobnobben exists to connect. See and be seen is our slogan, but it is also a guiding principle. We want everyone to find themselves in one of the stories on our screens,” said Cinema Center Exective Director Art Herbig.
“At Hobnobben, we give filmmakers a chance to grow and develop. Indiana’s student and emerging filmmakers get the opportunity to network with filmmakers from around the world,” said Hobnobben Film Festival Director Amanda Hille. “ In fact, this year’s longest journey is from Argentina.”
