FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Turnstone will host the U.S. Association of Blind Athletes’ Goalball National Championships on August 2-4.
The national tournament welcomes goalball athletes from across the nation to Fort Wayne, Indiana. Representatives say they are looking for volunteers to work the score tables, assist officials on the court, set up meals, and more.

Volunteers must be ages 15+, but no experience is required as training will be provided onsite. Those interested in this unique volunteer experience should sign up online.

“With the Paris Olympic and Paralympic games approaching, this event is a great opportunity for the community to experience the excitement of this Paralympic sport first-hand before watching it broadcast on television,” said Stasha Carrasquillo, Chief Marketing Technology Officer at Turnstone.
Volunteers play an important role in every event at Turnstone. Without the community’s help, many tournaments hosted would not be possible.
