HUNTINGTON CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Department of Transportation says that a portion of SR 124 in Huntington will close for a small structure replacement and a pipe lining.
Starting on or after June 10, crews will be working between State Road 5 and State Road 9. Work on the project is expected to last until the end of August. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
During the closure, drivers should use the approved detour of S.R. 9, State Road 218, I-69 and S.R. 5, or seek an alternate route.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
