The Allen County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman stabbed to death at a home in Grabill over the weekend. The death of Marcia Linsky, 64, has been ruled a homicide. (Original story below)
The following was released:
On February 3, 2024, at about 20:40 hours the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified of a fatal stabbing death located in the 10500 block of Lagoon Drive, in Grabill, Indiana. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene.
An autopsy has been completed and notification has been made to the next of kin of Marcia Louise Linsky, female, white, 64 years of age, from Grabill, Indiana. The Cause of Death is Multiple Incised Wounds, and the Manner of Death is Homicide. Marcia Louise Linsky is the 5th Homicide for Allen County in 2024. The incident remains under investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.

ALLEN CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Allen County Sheriff’s Department says that one person is dead and a man is in custody following a stabbing in Grabill Saturday night.
Officers responded to the 10500 block of Lagoon Drive around 8:25 p.m. on the report of a possible stabbing.
The Allen County Sheriff’s Department says that officers and medics located one adult unconscious inside of the residence. That person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Allen County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased individual, as well as the cause and manner of death.

On February 3, 2024, at approximately 8:25 P.M., officers with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department responded to the report of a possible stabbing in the 10500 block of Lagoon Drive. Upon arrival, officers and medics located one adult unconscious inside of a residence. That person was pronounced deceased at the scene. A person of interest was detained at the scene. The person detained was also an adult.
This is an active and ongoing investigation.
The Allen County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased individual, as well as the cause and manner of death.
UPDATED RELEASE BELOW, POSTED AT 1:40 P.M. ON FEBRUARY 4, 2024:
A 60-year-old male, Charles Michael Calvert, has been arrested and charged with murder, relating to this incident. He is being held without bond in the Allen County Jail.
