INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Childcare deserts are blamed by some members of the state’s Land Use Task Force for causing a population drop from 2010 to 2020 in over half of all counties in Indiana.
Lawmakers on the task force held a meeting yesterday afternoon about how the population trends are impacting the state.
Just 17 of Indiana’s 92 counties had a population increase of people younger than 18.
