ALLEN CO., Ind. – (ADAMS) The Indiana Department of Transportation says that work will be resuming on Coldwater Road over I-69.
Starting on or after May 8, crews will begin working on the southbound side of Coldwater Road. Work includes bridge construction, pavement patching and resurfacing. Work is expected to last until the end of October. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
Drivers should watch for a new road layout on the southbound side of Coldwater Road while work is completed. The I-69 ramps to southbound Coldwater Road, as well as this southbound stretch of Coldwater Road, are scheduled to be temporarily closed for a short period of time in July for some of the work to be completed. Drivers will be directed to use I-69 to Lima Road as a detour.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
