INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Indiana Senate could soon consider a bill that would add more funding to the state budget for school safety measures.
House Bill 1492 would raise the money Indiana’s Secured School Safety Grant Fund gets from $19 million dollars per year to $25 million.
The measure was already passed unanimously in the House.
It advanced out of the Senate Education Committee Wednesday and now heads to the Senate Appropriations Committee.
