STEUBEN CO., Ind. (ADAMS) – The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office says that a man has been arrested after an investigation into child molestation.
Officials say that it happened in April of 2022 when the 34-year-old shared a home with the victim, a 12-year-old girl, and her mother in Fremont Township.
On Monday, the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office said that offers had arrested Kevin A. Lambos of Jonesville, Michigan, following a months-long investigation.
Few details in the case were revealed but officials say that Lambos is being held on charges of child molestation.

The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in connection with an alleged child molesting that occurred back in April of 2022 at a residence in the 5300 block of East SR 120 in Steuben County’s rural Fremont Township. On 01/23/2023 just after 2:30 pm, 34 year old Kevin A. Lambos of Jonesville, MI was taken into custody following an interview with Sheriff’s detectives. The arrest comes after a 4 week investigation into allegations that Lambos had sexual contact with a 12 year old female victim in April of 2022 at the residence Lambos then shared with the victim’s mother.
Lambos was booked into the Steuben County Jail on one count of child molesting, a level 1 felony and one count of child molesting, a level 4 felony. Lambos remains held without bond pending an initial court appearance. Assisting the Sheriff’s Office in the investigation were the Dr. Bill Lewis Child Advocacy Center and the Indiana Department of Child Services.
