DECATUR, Ind. (ADAMS) – Indiana State Police officials say that a Decatur man is facing charges after an investigation revealed that he was in possession of child pornography.
Indiana State Police, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC), initiated a criminal investigation after receiving tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) that an online account had been used to store child pornography.
Indiana State Police released the following:
The investigation led to search warrants being served on Brian K. Peck, 58, and a residence located at 5565 N 600 E Decatur, IN, by the Indiana State Police (ISP) on Friday September 16, 2022. These searches resulted in the seizure of multiple electronic devices, as well as the arrest of Peck on related criminal charges.
The Indiana State Police was assisted by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, Adams County Prosecutor’s Office, and Decatur Police Department.
Arrested: Brian K. Peck, 58, Decatur, IN
Charge: Possession of Child Pornography depicting a child under 12, Level 5 Felony

Under the law, all criminal suspects are to be presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. The foregoing criminal charges are merely accusations at this point.
