UPDATE (August 30, 2022):
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Indiana Governor Holcomb is suspending some regulations on fuel standards in the Hoosier state.
This comes after a fire at the BP refinery in Whiting last week, which caused the plant to partially shut down.
Holcomb signed an executive order Monday to minimize the impact this will have on gas prices and supply.
The order suspends regulations on vapor pressure requirements and lifts restrictions on hours of service relating to motor carriers and drivers transporting fuels.

The facility on Lake Michigan just south of Chicago processes more than 430,000 barrels of oil per day when fully operational.
