UPDATE (August 26, 2022):
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – School leaders across Indiana are excited to get as much as $1,000 per student in tutoring grants.
The money will come through the Indiana Department of Education, but is really coming from the federal government. Students who are below proficient in either reading or math as third or fourth graders qualify for the extra help.
School leaders hope the extra tutoring will make up for what kids lost in learning during the coronavirus outbreak.
