FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) -A Fort Wayne man accused of the near-deadly beating of his infant son last summer is finally facing charges.
Prosecutors last week filed formal charges against 26-year-old Isiah Preston. Investigators say he beat his three-month-old son so badly last August that the boy had a brain bleed, broken ribs, and a fractured skull.
Preston had excuses for some of the little boy’s injuries, but police say he couldn’t explain others. Preston is being held on $20,000 bond.
