FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Local police say that a Fort Wayne man who was wanted on charges of child molestation has been arrested.
FWPD officials say that he was driving a stolen vehicle at the time of his arrest on Monday morning.
The Fort Wayne Police Department reported that 45-year-old Christopher L. Suttle had warrants for three counts of Level 1 Felony Child Molesting and another count of Level 4 Child Molesting.
It is unclear when the alleged activity happened. Police said that Suttle may face additional charges in New Orleans.
Fort Wayne Police worked with the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office, Louisiana State Police, and the US Marshals to find and apprehend Suttle.
Fort Wayne police released the following after the arrest:
Christopher Suttle was taken into custody this morning in New Orleans, LA on an active Warrant out of Allen County. Mr. Suttle was driving a stolen Chevy Camaro when he was apprehended and may face additional charges in New Orleans.
The agencies involved with investigating and apprehending Mr. Suttle: Fort Wayne Police Department, Allen County Prosecutor’s Office, Louisiana State Police, and the US Marshals.
