INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The plan to outlaw vaccine mandates in Indiana is changing.
Lawmakers on Thursday added a provision that would have businesses pay for testing for their workers.
Republicans at the Capitol want to allow people to get tested or provide proof of natural immunity instead of getting their coronavirus shots.
It is unclear how that would work given that natural immunity from COVID can deteriorate within about 90 days.
The Indiana House is fast-tracking the plan, and will likely vote on it next week.
