FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Dancers in Fort Wayne’s gentlemen’s clubs will need to continue to keep some clothes on.
The city council Tuesday night voted down a change to the city’s rules for ‘sexually-oriented businesses.’ Those rules ban nudity and require dancers to stay six feet away from customers.
A number of local dancers turned out at the meeting to push for the change.
Fort Wayne police say the no-nudity rules help regulate behavior at the city’s clubs and prevent crimes like prostitution and sex trafficking.
