Congress is one step closer to saving the nation from a new recession. The House will vote on a bill Tuesday to extend the debt limit another two months and then President Biden can sign it. This was all made possible after the Senate agreed yesterday to raise the borrowing limit.
While there are new numbers are out on January’s Capitol attack. The U.S. Attorney’s Office says about 650 arrests have been made so far in nearly every state. At least 190 of those were charged with assault, and 60 with using a deadly weapon. The riot injured 140 officers and caused more than a million dollars worth of damage. The House committee investigating what happened that day just issued more subpoenas this week.
