INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Several branches of the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles are temporarily closing. This comes as the agency moves around staff due to shortages.
11 of the 129 branches in the state are closed through October 2nd.
The BMV says 12-percent of branch positions are not staffed on a daily basis due to absences or because the roles are unfilled. The office closures include locations in New Haven and Nappanee.
